I've always loved to draw. Growing up, my life wasn't complete without a pencil and paper to doodle and dream. And I drew a lot.
Drawing from life gave me a better understanding of the world around me. Drawing letterforms, copying my favorite fonts and logos while also creating my own, gave me an appreciation for type and its appropriate use. Drawing my own comics helped me recognize and value the interplay of word and image, the importance of good layout, and the fun of making it all look cool. All of which led me to graphic design.
I've done a variety of print and web/digital projects. Brochures, posters, promotional materials, shirts, logos, graphics, websites and more. I've worked on projects for big corporations and small businesses, in an office environment and freelance. It's been a lot of fun!
While my toolbox has grown to include mouse and keyboard, PC and Mac, Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate, my desire and passion is still the same as it was with a pencil and paper as a kid. To turn doodles into design. Problems into solutions. Dreams into reality.
I'd love to do the same for you. Drop me a line and let's talk about it!
